1:15 – 2:15 ARB PRESENTATION: 2030 Target Scoping Plan and Local Governments Climate Action
The panelist will first provide an overview of the Draft 2030 Target Scoping Plan, released for public review in January 2017, and what it says about local governments action on climate change. The panel will then discuss related climate planning guidance from the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, especially in the General Plan Guideline updates, and tools that the Air Resources Board is working on to assist local governments with local climate action planning.
